BRCA Adult Services Program

Through respect, friendship, love, and care, the Adult Services program at Blue Ridge Community Action provides a higher quality of life for older members of our community.  Programs offered include adult day care services, a mid-day lunch program, and home delivered meals.

The Adult Day/Health program at Blue Ridge Community Action was developed to furnish a through-the-week program of care and support for older adults who require more assistance than either they or their families can provide.  The Adult Day/Health program also provides relief for daily caregivers.  Our center is designed to help adults regain or maintain a responsible level of functioning through group interaction and special programs.  Our mission is to help each person maintain individual dignity, self-worth, and a productive life.

The Adult Day/Health program has a licensed nurse on duty and provides participants with health and personal care services.
